''Line by Line'' (2006) is jazz bass guitarist John Patitucci's 12th album as a sole leader, and his sixth with the Concord Records label. It features Adam Rogers, Brian Blade, Chris Potter, as well as a string quartet on several numbers. The record is primarily composed of Patitucci originals, except one composed by Adam Rogers, a Thelonious Monk tune, a classical piece by de Falla, and a traditional spiritual. It was recorded at Avatar Studios, New York City, and produced by John Patitucci.
